I Want to Hold Your Hand

I searched for the best sister quote but none of them could be used to describe my sister.  Cathy was with me through it all.  She even spent every night on a cot in my hospital room.   She washed my face and fluffed the pillows.  She helped me get in and out of bed through tears of pain.  Cathy showed a tenderness I knew was there but had really never experienced so personally.  She held my hand all the way.

Cathy flew back to Oakland on Monday. It was so hard to say good bye.  But I thank Janet, Caleb, and Francesca for letting me "borrow" her for so long.

I truly have the best family.

  2. I just wanted to post on this site really quickly to say how thankful i am to have the best Aunt in the world in our family. I also wanted to say how thankful i am that mom is now on the other side of surgery and back home where she belongs, in the company of family and the dog. I know times are still tough, but your the strongest lady i know and you can accomplish anything and beat any obstacle life throws at you. I love you and wish i could be there to give you a hug....but i will have to get my fix when we next chat on Skype! lol. I love you.

  8. Good Morning Amy,
First let me say how much I love you and how much you have been in my thoughts. I am sitting here in my home office with Lauren (now 9). She must have the Rosenberg gene that wakes her up at 4 am. Anyway, we were talking and you and big Dave came up and this led me to finally post my very first blog entry. You do have an amazing family and are blessed. I too have tears in my eyes after reading your posting. Everyone in the Rosenberg house (even those still sleeping) send you all our love.
